Jamie is the Executive Director for Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw. She brings with her over 15 years of experience in marketing and fundraising for nonprofit organizations and public and private sector companies. Prior to joining HHH, Jamie served as the Director of Public Relations for the Barb Smith Suicide Resource & Response Network where she elevated their public presence, spearheaded fundraising events, and implemented a school-based suicide prevention program that impacted students and staff in Midland County. Jamie developed her marketing expertise at McLaren Caro Region as their Marketing & Foundation Manager. She led the marketing department and worked closely with staff at all levels of the organization to launch marketing strategies and engage employees and community members in fundraising events. Previous work included roles at SPI Innovations, Dow Chemical, and Gail & Rice Productions.

As a long-time member of the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Jamie has a connection with the origins of HHH and a passion for making a difference in the community. She has served as Elected Township Supervisor in Wisner Township, sat on the boards of the Rotary Club of Caro, ACW Ambulance, and Caro Chamber of Commerce. She also coordinated events and fundraisers for Relay for Life and the Miles for Mary 5k. Jamie brings this enthusiasm for public service to her role at HHH. She looks forward to building on its history through a focus on increased public awareness of the hospitality houses, financial growth, and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming place for patients and their families. Her education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual major in Marketing and Management from Northwood University and a Certificate in Digital Marketing from Cornell University.

Jamie was born and raised on her family farm in the Thumb and currently lives in Bay City with her husband Fabian, and daughters Karsyn (5) and Lennyn (2), along  with their 12 year old boxer Lexi.

With a genuine heart for helping others and a passion for connecting with people, Bella brings a unique blend of leadership, empathy, and devotion to her role as House Manager. She is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for guests and families navigating delicate times. Before joining the hospitality house, Bella spent four years as a General Manager, where she had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with people from all walks of life. This experience strengthened her ability to lead with compassion, adapt to the needs of others, and create an environment where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Bella’s passion for leadership and community began during her years participating in color guard throughout high school. Through the experience, she developed a strong sense of commitment, communication, teamwork, and the importance of fostering a supportive community. She later returned as an alumna coach, where she had the opportunity to mentor, encourage, and inspire the next generation, an experience that deepened her love for helping others grow and succeed.

She now enjoys spending her free time searching for her newest thrift find or doing anything outdoors with her boyfriend Cameron and their labradoodle Charlie Brown.

Gaines is our 3rd Shift Lead Hospitality Host. He brings over 15 years of experience with information technologies and graphic design, including an Associate’s in Network Administration. He was originally born and raised in Kentucky where he completed his schooling. He gained an appreciation for caregivers during frequent volunteer stints at Horizon Adult Health Care, brightening the day of the patients with craft projects and enrichment activities.

After transplanting to Michigan nearly a decade ago, Gaines was involved with worldbuilding and creative design for the Trouble Book Club’s Lost Mail Project, an ambitious narrative-focused game centered on dead letters and lost mail in a world with intergalactic travel. Even though the project never came to fruition, he enjoyed his time working closely with an international and multicultural team of creatives.

When he’s not holding down the fort at the McNally House overnight, Gaines enjoys graphic and game design, making custom commissioned Magic the Gathering proxies and tabletop role playing games. He often plays with a close group of friends, his husband Joseph, and their two chihuahuas, Oscar & Charlie.
